Summary: Technical Advisory Group Meeting for the Pilot Training on Developing Effective Information Campaigns, 28-29 November 2017

The Regional Support Office of the Bali Process (RSO) hosted a meeting bringing together experts from Bali Process Members to collaborate in designing a pilot training on developing effective information campaigns to support Bali Process Members’ efforts in addressing irregular migration, on 28-29 November 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand. Attendees formed a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to help guide and deliver the pilot training.

The first TAG meeting focused on the design phase of the training. Delegates acknowledged the importance of learning and sharing best practices regarding information campaigns and welcomed the opportunity to exchange on the topic at the meeting. They provided valuable guidance for the design phase of the pilot training. The high-quality inputs received at the meeting will help direct resources to areas of greatest priority and ensure that the pilot training is both relevant and useful to Bali Process Members.
