Retta is a data and information analyst at the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. In her role at the Ministry, she works on strengthening foreign policy coordination through close collaboration among government ministries and agencies. She has been involved in synchronizing national responses to cross-border issues and enhancing coordination efforts for the protection of Indonesian citizens overseas. At the Regional Support Office, Retta serves within the Countering People Smuggling Team, contributing to regional cooperation initiatives, analytical activities, and capacity-building programmes. Her work includes supporting Member States in enhancing operational coordination, improving situational awareness, and strengthening national and regional strategies to counter people smuggling. Retta’s secondment runs from November to December 2025, during which she is committed to strengthening regional collaboration on people smuggling and advancing coordinated, prevention-focused approaches that support broader security efforts.
