The escalating trend of people smuggling activities via the Andaman Sea region is a significant challenge for Bali Process Member States, posing a threat to the region’s security and wellbeing. In response, this Roundtable will bring together key stakeholders responsible for combatting maritime people smuggling with a shared interest in promoting regional cooperation and coordination to prevent, detect, and disrupt people smuggling operations in the Andaman Sea region.
