Let me jump straight the book recommendation part of this bio. Patrick White explored migration themes in his epic novel, Voss. Studying this work at university set me on a path to consider how Australia has engaged with and been shaped by migration, and then as my career expanded, how migration has been integral to the whole human story.  When in doubt, I return to Voss.
