The Focus Group Discussion on Irregular Maritime Ventures and People Smuggling Futures aims to provide a platform for Bali Process Member States to examine and discuss case studies and modus operandi of the smuggling networks in South and Southeast Asia. It will examine how people smuggling ventures are organised, financed, coordinated, and how they evolve across the region. Participants will also discuss emerging trends and identify practical cooperation priorities to strengthen targeted disruption and cross-border cooperation.
